Designing a special custom piece of jewelry is a creative process that begins with a design consultation.  We meet with you so that we can get to know you, and your style.  We will ask you a few questions, and more importantly…we will listen to you.  We are really interested in what you have to tell us.  What jewelry designs you like…and those you don’t. It’s just as important to share with us jewelry designs you don’t feel reflect your style. As we can then begin to design specifically for your style.   

Perhaps you feel you’re a visual person, and that you need to see finished jewelry designs in order to get inspired.  As you walk around our showroom you will find inspiration everywhere you look.  You may see one element in a finished jewelry design that you really like.  We can incorporate that one element into your design.  Maybe you even have a sketch, a photo or a jewelry design you saw on Pinterest of something you liked, bring it to us! 

We develop a design concept with you, with personalized details that reflect your personal style.  We may prepare sketches when needed, then provide a 3D computer aided design (CAD).  So you can see your custom jewelry design start to take shape.

Custom Design Process

• Design Consultation – Where we meet with you to get to know you, and your personal style.
• Design Vision - Which may include simply an idea or more likely a series of ideas, a sketch, a picture, perhaps even something you saw on Pinterest.
• Create a (CAD) 3D image - With the use of CAD/CAM software we can design a 3D image, and create the jewelry piece you have in mind.
• 3D Wax Model – This option of having a wax model of the design is created for those who would like to see the scale of the design, and/or try on the design before having the jewelry piece cast in metal.
• Casting – Casting the jewelry piece in the metal of your choice.
• Stone Setting
• Engraving - Inside or outside engraving if desired in your design.
• Final Finish & Polish - Polishing your custom jewelry design bringing it to a shiny finish.

We have also had the opportunity to create custom designed jewelry around very special diamonds and gemstones that have been in families for generations.  Perhaps, there are special gemstones in your family's collection that you would like us to design something special for...that's what we do best!
